We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Museum of Natural Science. It is so well organised. Entry is €9 and there is a free cloakroom and free lockers provided. The museum is quite large but it is very well laid out with clear directions on the walls and floor. We didn't have enough time to see everything but the dinosaur... More

Everything you expect to see in a natural science museum - plus dinosaur skeletons next to present-day stuffed birds for size comparison - plus fun activities for children as well as grown-ups. You can also enjoy coffee or a light meal in the small restaurant downstairs.

Visited the Poison exhibition, humankind gallery and dinosaur hall - ran out of time and energy then! Our kids (8 & 13) both loved it - they are not normally museum fans but this one really sparked their enthusiasm - well worth it.

The museum is very big so you need time to enjoy it fully and visist calmely all the rooms so as to benefit from all the activities and the children can learn. The place offers a variety of discoveries and the rooms on the human body are very well done.

If you have seen the Grand-Place and town hall of Brussels and the Atomium, I suggest if it is a rainy day, or the kids want something more exiting, take them to see the dinosaurs. And don't worry they are real (but they don't bite anymore). The large hall is filled with the skeletons of all types of dinosaurs, mainly... More

If dinosaurs are your thing, go there. In a huge hall you'll find 35 skeletons in a very interactive setting. Nine iguanodons are "locked" up in a glass cage - sooo impressing.

This museum is clearly aimed at educating children and young people about dinosaurs. Although we are 50 years out of the target range, the museum was a couple of hours well spent.
