Small but nice

A nice cathedral. Although a bit small when compared to other basilicas around europe. Nice goth architecture.

What a wonderful view of history. This cathedral is beautiful and well cared for. The architecture was amazing. For all you English only speakers unfortunately a lot of the history and artifacts are not explained in English.

Interior is a beautiful as the outside. The pulpit is just awe inspiring. I would look at it for days. There is also underground original ruins you can see and what looks like cripts at the back but these were inaccessible. Very much a working church with mass being served and florists decorating the alter. Architecture is amazing. A must... More

Magnificent architecture and beautiful history. Didn't get to go inside because we were on a walking tour. Hope to go in next time. Definitely a must see.

If you're coming to brussels by train you'll see the church after you go out of the station. Before you go to the hotel you have to check it out. Inside out the church is amazing and it's not crowded like the ones on other countries . Art work is better than most museums

Really enjoyed our visit to this Gothic cathedral. The interior was,if possible more impressive than the exterior.Had never heard of St.Gudula so this prompted me to research her.

This cathedral houses some nice altars and paintings. But more importantly, it has some nice historic items. In the treasury, there is the tomb for the arch duke Albrecht and arch duchess Isabelle of Austria. With a decorative sword of Ernest of Austria and many other luxurious and religious items. There is also a small archeological section, showing the old... More
