Next to the Grand Place, the heartbeat of Brussels. Cosmopolitan, lots of cafes, restaurants, bars and much more. This time there's a wedding at the Town Hall and add another dimension to such a beautiful place

Nice building to look at. Lovely architecture. Busy area and lots of hustle and bustle with restaurants etc all around. Right in the centre of things.

Stumbled upon the Grand-Place square at night while exploring the old part of town. Quite beautiful, lots of activity, nice restaurants. You should go there for some photos if nothing else.

I like going to the Grand Place late evening and enjoy the lights performances on the town hall (sometimes accompanied by music) Great bars with Belgian beers around (i especially like le Roi d'Espagne) and chocolate shops ;-) Avoid as much as you can the restaurants for typical tourists (la rue des bouchers et la petite rue des bouchers are... Beautiful to see, especially at night when its red coloured illuminated tower can be seen as a handy landmark from afar.
