Not too much to see here but take a stroll by it to see the classic "bourse" architecture (looks quite similar to the one in Paris and NYC). I went in December so there was a Christmas market all around it and it was all lit up! Very festive and puts you in the holiday spirit.

The stock exchange is a magnificent old building, nothing to see in the building itself though. Our guide said there were ideas being elaborated on what to transform it into and one of them is a beer market of some sort. I believe that would be a great scenario!

A Christmas wonderland, the whole building is lit up and playing music, plus the Christmas market was right outside. Stunning. 🎁

Every major city has its iconic steps or squares, that are natural meeting points where most often music and laughter steal the show. The steps before the Notre Dame in Paris, The Dam monument in Amsterdam. In Brussels, it's theflight of steps of the Bourse (Stock Exchange building) Always lively. In the two parallel streets you will find two magnificent... More

The Bourse and the area around it is one of the most interesting in Brussels. The building was erected from 1868 to 1873, and mixes elements of the Neo-Renaissance and Second Empire architectural styles. Great numbers of famous ornaments and sculptures, created by famous artists, including Rodin.

The building is imposing, probably as you would expect a stock exchange building to be. The place is very nice and free of cars. At night it is full of people enjoying some outside time with friends or family

The Bourse was only a 100m or so from where we were staying with the Metro station there providing our access to and from the train station. The building itself is substantial and architecturally interesting with the steps out the front providing asort of local meeting and gathering place. When we visited tributes to the Brussels terrorist attack victims were... More

The Brussels stock exchange is nice but somehow it looks like all stock exchanges built in the 2nd half of the 19th century in Europe. It is located near the "Grand Place".
