We booked the 'All in one discovery' and were so glad we did. Avo is a master of all things Belgian - beer, food, wine, history, cheese, chocolate, everything! We have done 6-7 tours like this in other countries in Europe, and this was without a doubt the best! Very highly recommended if in Belgium.

Loved this. The tour obviously teaches you a thing or two about chocolate while also showing you good places to go eat/visit in the Brussels centre. We got to try great chocolates at various shops (included in the tour price). The workshop, where you get to make your own chocolates, was great fun as well. Would definitely recommend!

Well, I am not sure I've ever eaten so much chocolate before midday! A great tour that is well organised and comprehensive in terms of a chocolate experience and getting to know different parts of the city. The guide 'Mick' (I think) was very friendly and knowledgeable. He showed us hidden gems of traditional taverns and best plces for mussels... More

The tour was orchestrated by a very interesting guide. It was a city / history / architectural / chocolate / beer / culinary tour all wrapped in one :) We loved it, and learned a lot about chocolate, the city, its history, beer, life...& Buddhism! It was good value and I can recommend it to anyone with 2 healthy feet... More

There is a lot of walking on this tour and most of it is on uneven cobble stones. Wear good footwear - sneakers or hiking boots if its raining. Other than the fact that my feet almost died during this tour and it was pouring rain, the tour was amazing. Our guide was super nice and gave us a lot... More

We waited in front of a Godiva store in the impressive Grand Square on a brisk late September morning for our tour guide, Mark (Marc?), to arrive. There were three of us in the group—two Americans and a lovely British girl making her way home to the UK through Brussels. Mark was a lively soul, full of pithy observations and... More

This was an experience! It was a very good way to get to know the Belgium chocolate - and even make some yourself! Only minus is the price (expencive), and too little Brussels history in the city walk. But the chocolate was very good!

Only had one day in Belgium and wanted to sample my favorite style of beer. The tour was better than I expected for the money. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took us to bars we never would have found on our own and introduced us to several beers we had never had before......and can't get in the... More

Marc was our guide and was an absolute gem. He took us to a number of bars in unique locations. We sampled approximately 8 beers including the Orval. Marc discussed the difference between consuming beer on tap versus bottled beer. He also incrementally compared different beers and built us up to stronger beers. We finished with the terminator which I... More
