Monument, dedicated to Everard T Serclaes. He was liberator of Brussels. Sculpture is work of Julien Dillens. A good art work, is partly a tourist trap. Allegedly it brings luck to visitors of the place if they touch it. You can believe if you want.

Our tour guide told us that touching the statue from head to toe gives good luck; touching the arm gives love (the most shiny part of the statue); touching the dog gives good economic fortune. Many tourists stop by for pictures, but the line moves quickly. One normally waits less than a minute or two. Believe it or not, come... More

This sculpture is on a wall of the Grand Place as you head towards Mannekin Pis. The sculpture is said to bring good luck to those who strike the bronze arm.

This is a classical example of "touch to get good luck" sculpture as the one in Prague, Verona, etc. It is situated next to the city hall which is a must see, so a picture doesn't take much time out of the budget

Five doors down on your right if you face it there is a place to buy really tasty ice-cream to go on your waffles. The square... More

We stumbled across this without knowing what it was, so we looked into his history on Trip advisor. It is well maintained.

It's a beautiful sculpture into a wall, just on the side of Grand Place towards Manneken Piss. It is believed that it will make your wish come true if you make it while touching the sculpture
