Easily one of the most beautiful squares in the world. Impressive buildings wherever you look. The Town hall especially but also the elegant Guild houses. Unfortunately we weren't in town when the famous flower carpet is displayed which must be a treat?

Grand Place is the place to be, with all the locals and tourist alike. I went here during the day time, a lot of people gathering here, lots of stores, restaurants and bar surrounding the plaza. Architecture is amazing, I spent a lot of times...More

This was another surprise that was recommended to visit. The "Town Square" was beautiful. It reminded me of several Germany cities that have a similar venue. The buildings have been recently refinished which added to the experience. Plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops. It's interesting...More

Once you find this spot, it is a great location. Old style architecture with plenty of shops from fashion, electronics, food, bars and chocolate stores. Lots of energy and plenty to see and do. Well worth the visit.

This is the main place that pops up whenever you search for things to do in Brussels. There's not much you can do on the main square itself (unless you count sitting down on the floor and just chilling or take tourist shots here with...More

The Grand Place is an awesome place to visit. The buildings surround you, and they stand tall and proud. The architectural designs are picturesque and are astounding. There are many people who walk through this area. While I was there Aug 2017, a youth dance...More

Lively square, lots of restaurants, Musicians and chocolatiers and unexpected hapenings to keep you busy for hours, make sure to stick around after dark as the square comes alive.

Wonderful views, very artisan. Street music, food, performers. Could have stayed most of the day and it's just a square.

Yes you can go at central taking metro 1-5 one stop. You can go also to Bourse taking the tram 3-4 ( pre metro) one stop. From your hotel is 10 min walk for the Bourse and Gare Centrale.
