Found this gem of a shop by accident. Small and intimate, the helpful advice given at this shop made my chocolate experience all the more pleasurable.

The chocolate shop named after the first female chocolatier of Belgium, who made chocolate for royalty. This is THE place to sample and buy delicate, melt in your mouth delicious Champagne truffles. You will find shops scattered all over Brussels, and they are nice enough...More

Chocolate cherries...wonderful. Chocolate covered orange peels...delicious. 3 months later and I am still thinking of them. The best I have ever had! I wish it wasn't so expensive to ship to Canada or I would be ordering them all the time.

Excellent chocolates, still hand made. First female chocolatier to be recognised by the Belgian royal family. Worth a quick look for the beauty of the place, if not the wonderful smell.

Popped in here after visiting the Grand Place. There are several chocolatiers in the arcade so I looked up other reviews. Mary consistently comes out near or at the top. My wife is pleased so that's all that counts! Staff were helpful.
