If you're walking in Antwerp, choose this street. We walked from our hotel near Central Station to the Older district one street over, and it was dirty and sketchy. Meir is your best bet.

I walked this street that is car-free from Central Station to the Grote Market attractions. Located on both sides of this street are shops, cafes, and restaurants. Noted the presence of MacDonald restaurants here! Counted three of them as I walked along this street!

This wide shoppimg street in the heart of Antwerp is a cool pace to visit, it still has some grandeur with some beautifull buildings lining the street. Just stroll around and do some (window) shopping!

Nothing too exceptional to see here. Nice sounds is someone is busking though. Wouldn't go out of your way to see it.

The main shopping artery of Antwerp. This is a wide well paved street with all the usual named stores on either side. Good for a stroll but leave your credit card in the hotel. Good Ben and Jerry's at the far end (but no seats).
