Twice a year MoMu presents a new exposition: based on the MoMu collection (25,000 pieces), and completed with loaned works, these expositions might tell a designer's story or focus on a fashion related theme. You won't find a permanent display here, but rather a varied programme that focuses on the differente dimensions of the world of fashion.

You can't make a citytrip to Antwerp without visiting the Fashion Museum! The museum shows different collections. They place Belgium fashion in the spotlight but also connect with fashion and designers from other contries. I visit this place a few times a year and it's...More

Visited this museum for the Margiela for Hermes exhibition and I couldn't leave more inspired. Considering that I also visited Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Balenciaga and McQueen exhibitions, it was way more detailed and in depth. It lasted me nearly two hours walking around.

By far the best fashion museum in Belgium. Every single time they get the best pieces and the most interesting parts of fashion history. A must visit if you are into fahsion!

It is the Royal Academy Fashion department why Antwerp is actually worth mentioning. So, just go there. Otherwise, consider your time wasted.

If you expect a museum of the history of fashion, look somewhere else. It is a nice gallery of some creative work relating to the impressionism movement and so on

I have visited the fashion museum in Hasselt before, and both there and here I was done looking around in about 15 minutes. I think these museums have to do a better job explaining what is so special about these particular clothes on display. I...More

Antwerp is an important fashion city and this museum lives up to its task. We saw an exhbition of an artist and the fashions by Antwerp's designers than combined the art and fashion in really creative and thought-provoking ways. The docent who led us through...More

Mode Museum is the highlight of my Antwerp visit in June 2016 as I was looking forward to learn more about the fashion development in Europe. The theme of the exhibition was Reinventing the 20th-century Silhoutee that related to Balciaga's development. There were 150+ Balenciaga...More
