Surprisingly large Chinatown with gates
Apr 2021 • Solo
The Hague has a surprisingly large Chinatown in the centre of the city. It has nice gates at the entrances as you would expect, similar to e.g. San Francisco. There is a very good value Chinese supermarket and of course many authentic Chinese restaurants.

a small chinatown in Hague, out of nowhere!!

Just near to the main shopping street, suddenly pops out a huge gate & everything beyond this changes drastically into a chinese town... red lanterns on the street , & some good dimsums to eat..

Chinatown
Jul 2019 • Solo
As others have already mentioned, this Chinatown is not that big, but I wouldn't call it small either. No question, it's not as big as the ones in U.S, but about par by European standards. There's the usual two arches signalling the boundaries of Chinatown and lots of restaurants in between. Lots of options for Chinese food, though there's a great variety of other restaurants too, and prices to suit all budgets. I had a noodle soup at Wang Wang here and enjoyed it.

There's also Chinese supermarkets, massage, medicine as well as other assorted shops that have nothing to do with Chinese as well.

Ok

We decided to have a walk through Chinatown as we were staying a couple of minutes away. We found one of the arches and saw the red lanterns hanging. There are quite a few Chinese shops and restaurants around. It is just your typical Chinatown area that most other cities have. It is nice to have a walk round the streets and see the different arches that there are which are good for taking a picture.

It's okay
Oct 2018 • Couples
There is a Chinatown just about everywhere you go, or at least in every major city around the world. So we are used to this sort of neighbourhood and it is not easy to get too excited about! This one is okay as far as shops, restaurants and the like go. Nothing unusual.

Fun decent food not great
Feb 2019 • Friends
Some of the best Chinese food in the area can be found here (Full moon). Also some of the most average. You can get a meal for $5 or $50. Only a few non-foos shops. A few massage and spa places. It is very easy access from the grote market (main market). Chines new year is fun simple and accessible. Go for a meal or a quick side visit while shopping

Smallish Chinatown in The Hague
Dec 2018 • Friends
We wandered through the Chinatown in The Hague and did some shopping as well as had dinner there but it wasn’t as alive as some other Chinatown in Europe but still it was interesting to wander around it.

Walking thru Chinatown
Sep 2018 • Couples
It seems every major area United States, Canada, Europe has a Chinatown, Little Italy, Latin Quarter and many other ethnic pockets.

Cinatown The Hague The Netherlands shines with everything that is interesting, distinct and exciting about the culture. Love it.

Not the average China Town
Jul 2018
Safe, but not a lot of shops as we are used to in eg Singapore or other big cities. At first I was hesitant, but it seems to be quite safe

Didn't do much for us
Sep 2018 • Couples
We were wandering around in the city and walking inside. Restaurants in old style Chinese food were everywhere. We simply couldn't see anything special.
