Palace

We biked around The Hague and passed by this palace. It looks beautiful from the outside. Amazing that this palace is situated in the city centre.

This is obviously a very important building for the Dutch people and royal family, being a working palace. It is very understated and modest by European standards, although I did walk further up and see the stables which are massive. It is surrounded by interesting galleries and shops and several statues and is not far from parliament.

Situated in the midst of the old city's tiny and quaint alleyways, is Paleis Noordinde. There is usually an ice cream cart out front with some nice ice cream, only in the warmer months, though.

Important royal palace in the heart of the city. Now renewal works are in progress so you will probably not be able to enjoy fully, but still it deserves a visit.

Having walked round town we reached the palace to find it is currently closed for renovations so we were unable to do anything but look though the gates and then walk round the back to the Place Gardens

Lovely architecture, interesting history, an interesting walk in a lively area. Nothing to see but outside of building.

This is the palace where the king comes to work every day from his summer home. It is not as elaborate as most other palaces but there is a nice statue of one of the kings in front of it

This is really nothing to look at, a small palace that you can't get into and at best worthy of a minute or two to take photos. The gardens are particularly disappointing, not even suitable for a walk.

You cannot go in building is really not impressive and not much to do in the area. Except there is a nice park where you can have a family picnic
