Beautiful beach to walk along

A nice comfortable place to walk along while watching other beach goers. The kitesurfers looked amazing! The wind can be quite strong along the beach too!

Lots of places to eat along the beachfront, even has a casino and shopping mall! Wouldn't advise you to go for a swim though as it is really cold!

The pier has recently been renovated, and it is really cool and totally worth an hour or two of your time. There are restaurants and places to get a drink all up and down it, though the bungee wasn't open when we were there. Really picturesque.

Scheveningen a coastal district of The Hague is a seaside resort like no other although Blackpool springs to mind. It can best be described as bracing although words such as rainy cold and windy are often used. This is not surprising as it is located on the exposed North Sea coast and has a relatively short in-season. The only way... More

It was very relaxing walk along the North sea in Scheveningen, but there was a very cold wind and we were freezing. Lucky there is a lot of coffee bars with heating and warm drinks. Also the color of the sea is not blue, it's some kind of grey.

We had one cold but sunny day, and one rainy, windy, very cold day. Loaded with restaurants and bars. Even as cold as it was, surfers abounded. A great place to hang out and people watch. Weather is too unpredictable in April, wait till Mid May.

A super place to people watch as everyone likes to walk along the promenade in the evening. Loads of restaurants along the way serving everything from steaks to fish to pancakes.

I've been to the pier off season where it is quiet and open. However, close your eyes and imagine a beautiful sunny day and you can feel like you are kid a again. I love the beaches on the North Sea. They are less crowded and the water is less polluted, but colder. There are many touristy restaurants along the... More
