That is the Miniature city Madurodam in the area of Scheveningen, to the north from the Peace Palace, we've visited during our stay in the Hague. We were just enchanted with all this miniature world, representing the Holland, through the models of canal houses, flower-bulb fields, cheese markets, windmills, the Peace Palace ( this time showed as a model), then... Everyone who has enough time in The Hague should visit this amazing place which depicts a miniature world. The local landmarks are so easily recognised and wonderful photo opportunities are around every corner. Easily reached by tram from the city centre.

The models are incredible and really life like. I was very impressed by the way that everything was looking so realistic and alive. The museum reveals different aspects and shows interesting locations from all around the country. Must-see location and definitely worth it. Are trains everywhere which are like real, they are passing through the whole park.

The park portrays miniatures of various sites and cities in Holland. Some are interactive, which made it fun for the boys. Towards the... More

My girlfriend was really happy with her clogs from the clog factory! The videos in the park are hilarious. They explain various aspects of Dutch life... More
