The glass windows and doors all surrounding the station has a strong still of transparency and protection. The station is giving the feeling small in a big area. You have 2 different passes of ticket checking area. 4 sides of exit.

One fine man escorted me to the cavernous pay restroom and put a staff token in for me - good thing! I had nooo currency! Plenty of decent coffee, treats and light snacks to buy/ charge. Free directions from the sweet staff!

Yes, there are lockers. Go to ns.nl and klick on the icon for English top right. You'll get all the information you'll need. There are plenty cafés and such. Dudok would be best but there's a Starbucks too.

There are quite a few restaurants all within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It really depends on what type of food your in the mood for. Also the Markethaul has a dozen restaurants and shops less than 10 minutes by bike.
