The body of the church, that is being renovated, is actually quite plane. The points of interest are the stained glass windows around the alter communicating the story of Christ to the masses and the history of the House of Orange which is set out...More

The main part church was undergoing significant renovations when I visited. They still had a nice educational display about the church and Dutch history. William of orange is buried there. The climb to the top of the tower is in a narrow, circular stairwell. You...More

The church of the Royal family, where they are laid to rest. Currently under restoration, a bit noisy, but well worth it for the beautiful stained glass windows. They have audio and visual displays that were very informative as to the House of OrAnge in...More

Unfortunately the church was not silent. It is undergoing extensive renovations and it was noisy and very dirty. It was hard to appreciate the beauty of the church under these circumstances.

Climbing its bell tower it's an experience to do. Not easy more or less 400 steps of a spiral staircase, but incredible.

It's a long way to the top but worth the view, slightly unnerving and claustrophobic on the way up and down the narrow staircase though.

One should include New church in their itinerary when visiting Delft. All royal weddings and funerals happen in this church. Currently under renovation but still worth the visit. Famous tower with great bell music. For the brave ones a climb is recommended!

If you are in delft, then must visit this new church. Pay 2.5 euros and climb the tower to see the whole delft city. Rotterdam can also be seen from this church's tower.

We were there October 2015 and used the coupon for the free coffee at the restaurant nearby. Upgraded my kids to the hot chocolate and they still rave that it was the best hot chocolate ever. What is the name of that restaurant?
