Our knowledgable guide explained the life of the Ten Boom family and their mission to hide people during the war. Seeing the hiding place was amazing and hearing about the unwavering faith of Corrie was spine tingling. I would recommend this free museum and historical education experience if you find yourself in beautiful Haarlem.

This one-hour tour within a historic and inspiring little home will make the trip to Haarlem worth it. Corrie Ten Boom and her family were simple people of faith that decided to be helpful in the face of great risk. Aty gave us our English tour. She was knowledgable, enthusiastic and well-spoken. As one who personally lived through the war... More

I have read Corrie's books and am very familiar with her story, so visiting her home in Haarlem was at the top of my list of things to do when in Europe (not just the Netherlands!). Our tour guide stayed very true to the story of 'The Hiding Place'. Corrie's is a story of faith and hope in a time... More

Not as famous as the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam but surely as interesting. Don't miss this WWII historical site. Very well presented and important.

We visited the museum last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. We went to the English tour and there is room for only about 20 people per tour. You just have to wait outside of the building, and if you are one of the first 20 in line you get to go into the tour. If not, you would have to... More

The story of Corrie ten Boom is well know but this tour certainly adds context and insight. The tour guide was very knowledgable about the Ten Boom family and helped you understand what life was like for them during this period. I definitely felt inspired after I left and would recommend this attraction. It is free which is rather amazing... More

It's a very exciting story of courage, faith and hope. The story that we should remember and not to forget people like the Corrie ten Boom.

A fascinating museum which you really shouldn't miss. Volunteer guides document the inspirational Ten Boom story, an essential part of modern Europe's historical canon and a unique way of accessing the story of WW2 and the Nazi occupation of the low countries. Our guide, a genial man with a soft Irish accent, took us from room to room, interspersing the... More

I was just walking in Haarlem and came across this little historical gem that gives the perspective of the local Dutch people who were helping Jews in the Nazi occupied Netherlands during the World War Two years. It is mentioned in other guidebooks. It's above a jewelry store (now as then) and I just got in line and waited with... More
