MARIYA took my family ( husband , children 12,11,9) and friends( couple and son 14) on a wonderful walking tour of Amsterdam . Wow what a difference having a good guide makes to your experience. We had the most wonderful and interesting time. MARIYA knows everything about Amsterdam and speaks so clearly and in such a vibrant and interesting way that you are never bored or lose concentration. She takes you to special places you would never go to. At exactly the right time she takes you to an historic pub( from the 16 th century) for a drink and a rest. At the end we went on a beautiful old canal boat and had cheese and wine as the sun set looking into the houses of Amsterdam as we glided along the canals. If you want to enjoy Amsterdam then ask Mariya to take you on a tour. She is fun, funny and intelligent and you will love it!

After hearing about a fantastic experience from a friend, booked an appointment with Mariya for 4 days.

Right from the enquiry to preparing the Itinerary , it was a seamless communication. She prepared a plan after knowing our interests, preferences and weather conditions.

Mariya Promptly picked us from the hotel on all the days. It was easy to break the ice with her. She is thoughtful and considerate which exhibits her passion towards work.

I never thought a museum tour could be so interesting. Mariya's enthusiasm was contagious. Her knowledge on the paintings, crisp and clear explanations were just perfect. Fortunately, we had new exhibits by Rembrandt on display at the Rijksmuseum on the day we visited. Credits to her for advising us to take the Museum tour on the day.

Her Insight on the Dutch culture, her narration made us truly enjoy the trip to Zaanse Schans and Giethoorn. She ensured we spent enough time at all the places we visited.

On short Notice, she was able to arrange a Photography session for us.

We wanted to sample local cuisine and she would advice on the must try dishes from the restaurants that were near our locality. Her suggestions were too good.

On the whole it was interesting and entertaining experience. We would certainly want to visit Holland again and would avail her amazing tour to other places in Holland and Brugge to have a wonderful experience.

Thanks to Mariya, Our Holland experience was Incredible.

The perfect guide! Mariya will talk (inform) you as much, or as little, as you wish... and she could even answer my "crazy history questions". The weather was so clear that day, that I suddenly asked if we could also visit Zaanse Schans, the Windmill area (45 mins away); she had a guy with a van at the ready, within 30minutes! The following day, Mariya even arranged a private boat for me to cruise the waterways on my own for an hour. All very professional (... besides, if you are going to spend 6-hours with someone, it might as well be the most beautiful guide in town, right?).

Mariya was excellent! Easy to adapt to our requests. Always full of information but not overbearing unlike some typical Russian tour guides. Knows anecdotes, not just the dry history. We were very happy with essentially all of her restaurant recommendations. Communication was super easy in English or Russian.

We wanted to see the 19 century Dutch paintings. Mariya took us to three museums: Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, The Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo and The Mesdag Collection in The Hague. We saw an amazing collection of Dutch, French and Italian paintings among the others. Thanks to Mariya’s clear and short explanation we had enough time and opportunity to ask questions. Next to Van Gogh’s work and life story, Dutch landscapes was striking to me above all, as the works by The Hague School master like J. Israel. Our three days of museum visit became also a kind of city tours with culinary highlights, because of Mariya's choice of restaurants and cafes which we visited before or after the museum visits. As The Kröller-Müller Museum is in the dunes (wild and mountainous Dutch countryside;)) Mariya managed bikes for us to cycle in the dunes, around the museum. Which eventually became an exceptional day, also thanks to the nice weather. It was funny to see Mariya with her elegant dress on the bike, cycling like a really Dutch;)) So, if you are jealous of our this experience with Mariya, just call her.
