Lovely vehicles - clean and spacious. Trams run every few minutes and seem to have a good network especially from Central Station. The prices are reasonable particularly if you buy a multi day ticket, and there is even an "office" on the trams where you...More

We had the iamsterdam Card which included transportation. It was a great way to get around the city. The only issue that prevented me from rating it as "excellent" was that several times the map listed a stop where there wasn't one that we could...More

Used the tram system . Is safe and easy to get around. Can buy or upgrade your tickets right on board with the personnel at the back end of the tram. Very, very friendly and accommodating operators.

The trams arent cheap, but very convenient and easy to use. There is a conductor/ticket selker sat in the middle of the tram, who are verry helpful, and assists in ticket purchase and explaining about verifying tickets.

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
