Really recommend this. We were 4 out of a group of 9 and were guided by 'the Colonel' who was helpful and informative. You do not need to be a great cyclist but a decent level of fitness would help. We went to a windmill and a cheese farm and stopped along the way at points of interest. The weather... More

We are a family of five on a short break to Amsterdam . We booked a private 3 hour city tour with Mikes Bikes. The bikes were of a high standard and our guide Simon couldn't have been more helpful. He managed to strike the right balance between being informative for the adults and fun for the kids. He even... More

We rented a couple of bikes for the day and it was great fun! I'm not a very confident city cyclist but at least in Amsterdam the cyclists seem have the right of way (whether motor vehicles/pedestrians like it or not!). The lady who served us was very helpful and knowledgable. Mike's Bikes also caters for the vertically challenged which... More

We reserved a private bike tour for 8 people last weekend. Initially the snow was so bad we thought it would be cancelled. Upon calling we were told that as long as the locals were cycling it was fine. we are glad we went because we had a really good time cycling around the city. our guide was good fun... More

Rented a couple of bikes for 2 days. Was nice to pay the €2 extra for the insurance which gave us a piece of mind. The lady in the shop gave us a wonderful explanation of places to go and see too. Would definitely use again.

I took the English speaking bike tour in Amsterdam. Riding a bike in Amsterdam is not an easy task, so before the tour started they informed us about the do's and don'ts and also they taught us how to ride a bike in Amsterdam (i.e. Dutch style :P ). They took us to almost all the attractive and must see... More

There are lots of bike rental places in Amsterdam (and indeed throughout The Netherlands), but this may be one of the better ones. Cost is 7 euros for 4 hours including insurance, and they have a really good description of what we should and should not do. You must hire a bike when visiting amsterdam, if only to enjoy the... I've been on this tour twice now and both times were amazing! The bikes are nice and comfortable. The tour guides give you very important and useful information about the road rules and make sure you are safe to be out there. They are also incredibly knowledgeable and good to chat to! Both times went over time due to good... More

We did the country side tour in January and was one of the highlights of our weekend trip to Amsterdam. Our tour guide, Daniel, was excellent! He was very informative and a great way to spend an afternoon learning about Amsterdam and its history. The country side tour took you down the Amstel River to the windmill and then to... More
