Great Fun

We turned up on the evening and played a game of golf, the course is a good size and the holes are fun and challenging, good value and a good thing to do in Amsterdam!

me and 4 friends went here, it was really good and i like the concept. It needs a lick of paint and maybe some new kinds of courses added because a few of them are very similar. It is underneath a pub (coolest pub ever) and the food smelt really good but we didn't eat there. The woman who served... More

We decided to go to Glowgolf on the spur of the moment one evening & I'm glad we did. There were only 2 of us & it only took an hour but we had such a laugh & it looks amazing down there. The staff in the bar upstairs were really friendly & welcoming. It's definitely worth taking a walk... More

The first time I went I was served by a gentlemen who I presume is the owner. He was very friendly and suggested we should get a drink and bite to eat before starting. We only got a drink, the bar/seating area was very busy on both visits! Upon entering the glow golf (first time) we were asked if you... More

Great and unusual activity to do with friends. We had a deal which came with a meal and was decently priced and tasted good. When we proceeded to play the game, the group in front of us took exceedingly long to complete each game which caused a bit of a backed up queue. They also had multiple turns which is... More

Played glow golf with 5 friends and found it fun if a little strange with the 3d glasses on, particularly after several drinks.

In a coffee shop basement. Glow in the dark crazy golf. Everywhere is black, you wear glasses similar to 3D glasses, everything glows! Everything is kind of exaggerated 3D. Great fun, we never stopped laughing. Really cheap too. Loved every minute. Very unique.

Going to the GlowGolf was a great idea. You get 3D glasses and enter an area filled with colors making everything look alive. Things feel like they pop out of the walls makes the game a little bit more interesting and a whole lot more funny, especially if you use some of Amsterdam's advantages beforehand ;) Also, try the chicken... Me and my boyfriend visited and both found it really fun! Reasonably priced and so good if you want to escape the rainy/cold weather for an hour.

Staying in Plantage & the East

Neighbourhood Profile
Plantage & the East
The eastern edge of central Amsterdam provides visitors with the chance to imagine the city that Rembrandt called home (and to tour his historic house) while shopping like the thriftiest of locals at Waterlooplein’s massive flea market, or even enjoying a craft beer beside the tallest wooden windmill in The Netherlands. This verdant, serene, and stately part of town is home to Artis Royal Zoo, one of Europe’s oldest (and still best kept) zoos, and Hortus Botanicus, one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world. It's also an ideal setting for the Dutch outpost of St Petersburg’s Hermitage.
