A good, fairly large market of various stalls with food, souvenirs clothes and accessories all on sale. Worth a visit whilst you visit the city I’d say!

Came here to take advantage of eating all Dutch foods. We also bought all our souvenir items here. We enjoyed everything. Love the herring, poffertjes and stroopwafel! All so yummy.

Lots of food vendors, with lots of local food that gave us an opportunity to try some different things. Lots of vendors tourist stuff and so other nice clothing items at reasonable prices. Nice place to wander around and spend a couple hours.

Average market, nothing too exciting but a nice place to wander and find food vendors. The shopping portion is mainly tourist stuff that I wouldn't expect to last. Arrive more then an hour to closing as it seems like many vendors seem to start taking...More

This market goes on for blocks and offers a variety of fresh foods, flowers, fabrics, clothing, and other goods. Many of the 'booths' have a full store behind them so if you see something you like on the street there is much more to see...More

By tram n.5 from central station which is pretty close where the river cruise vessels are. I would include it in a proper private tour of the town visiting the market, the rijkmusesum and the vangogh museum
