Singel is a nice canal for a stroll, it's lined with quaint shops, cafes and historical buildings showcasing interesting architecture such as a tiny narrow house squeezed between the buildings and slightly wider than the width of a door, very unusual. People actually live in...More

Like many of the rivers and canals, if you’re wandering, you won’t be able to miss it! Lovely area to walk along, especially in the evenings. Might not be as striking as some other areas, but still beautiful.

The "Singel" is one of the canals that Amsterdam is famous for. It is actually very handy to use as a guidance, to follow the Singel and then take bars, attractions and restaurants along the way as they come.

A lot of people would had seen or had been in Singel and would not even had realised it. Singel is the innermost canal in Amsterdam's rings of canals. It runs from near Central Station to the Muntplein square that flows to the Amstel river....More

The Singel is the inner most canal besides the three major canals in Amsterdam. It starts from Centraal Station encircles the city center, passes the Leidsestraat, over to Rembrandtplein and to the Amstel River. Like all the canals, it is walkable and you will find...More
