we took a glass-top boat tour along the waterway and saw many interesting sights. amazing how many people actually live on the canals in houseboats. nice time to relax and just enjoy.

We visited here on the canal boat tour. The Amstel is how Amsterdam got its name and how it also became known for its beer. This is still a working river, but it is also worth viewing the river from one of the bridges.
