If you go to The Netherlands you have to see a windmill and this is the closest free one to Amsterdam. Interesting to look at but not in a great area.

Picturesque windmill. Apparently the resident of the windmill resident doesn't appreciate hordes of tourist walking around and parks his car in a spot which spoils a good photo opportunity!!

Went there for a short stay (2 hours) and was it very interesting to see in live form. Only downside was,the amount of tourists that is at the place,as it does very crowded.

Had to see a windmill while in the Netherlands, this was within walking distance from my hotel and next to a really nice park. Very glad I took the time to walk over.
