Some evenings the show is free but nonetheless the views over the river and towards the city are great. The acoustics leave many other venues in the shade - apparently designed around jazz music 'noises'. Easy to get to from Centraal Station.

Went to Bimhuis last night for a free improvised music and dance show. Wow! What an amazing evening. A lovely venue in a part of the city that we may not have made it to otherwise. Looking forward to seeing a few more shows here.

It was the fifth time we had a diner and a concert. And I had the same experience as the other four visits. The restaurant needs a chef. A chef that will be coaching this liveless staff. And the cook. There is no soul in...More

Bought tickets after listening to the band on-line. What they played was nothing like what they represented they were going to play. One of the worst shows i've ever seen, in fact, the only one i've ever walked out of. Definitely a bait and switch...More

Was here for the Kaja Draksler Octet on the evening of May 20th 2016. Best concert venue I've ever seen. Seating for about 200. All facing west. Around sunset the curtains were pulled apart revealing all-glass wall overlooking railway lines, to central Amsterdam. Magical effect....More

The views from here are spectacular - the night we went was "museum night" and there were lanterns from helium balloons or kites (we couldn't see what exactly in the dark) floating above the spectacular science museum. The jazz (or "clazz") concert we saw was...More
