In the zoo we can visit the zoo, an aquarium, an insectarium, a reptilarium and a planetarium. We can interact with a few animals without cages, like little monkeys, birds and wallabies. We spent a great time in Artis Zoo. We strongly recommend to see...More

Highly recommend to get a ticket for micropia as well; very interactive museum design especially for kids and adults. You should spare a day at least to not to rush and spend appropriate time in it. Really enjoyed every second of visit.

Zoo very good, ideal for children, especily the elephant enclosure, their was a baby elephant there which at feeding time thekeepers spray the elephants with water and they end up rolling in the mud.

As I young child, I visited this zoo with my parents. I got very upset seeing all those animals in cages, sometimes so little... I saw the lone wolf in a concrete cage of about 1 x 1.75 m. He walked up and down and...More
