Night cruises are dark and hard to see much detail except for a few lighted buildings from a distance. Food was decent but the crowd around us was quit loud and we had a difficult time hearing the tour guide. There were options at the...More

The canal boat was comfy and clean, the driver was humorous and provided a fun and light hearted canal tour whilst also giving some facts. Would recommend if you have some time to spare and wish to learn a little about Amsterdam from the canal.

To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the
Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its
saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to
view some of the city’s most picturesque canals,
historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples
of traditional local architecture – not to mention
Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist
temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some

Most companies do not book timeslots for their daytime cruises - just show up and have your card scanned and it should be fine!
