Hema is a department store chain in Holland. It is more budget minded than the large luxury stores like De Bijenkorf. They have their own brand labled goods which will be cheaper than brand names. Some stores are larger than others, but many have lunch...More

HEMA has many stores within Amsterdam in which you can find everyday items for the house kitchen bath. They have got a takeout food section which offers cheap snacks , still delicious.

Odd mix of household items displayed in a bright & airy two floored place. Additionally - and the real reason many Dutch choose to come here - is the ridiculously cheap coffee, snacks and sandwiches that they serve on the first floor.

Visited this place mostly due to the curiosity of the name which is a common name in Sri-Lanka. It has everything one needs.A lovely place. Took a photo of the name board to share with friends in Sri-Lanka.

It's a big department store. You can find small branches and big ones where you can find everything with a descent prices. I love their face lotion "look at the mirror and guess my name" nice and cheap

Very tasty and crunchy smoked sausage. It's a supermarket so you can see a long queue for the sausage. They also sell other pastries which is good too.
