Bloemgracht is a small canal that links Prinsengracht to Lijnbaansgracht in the Jordaan district of Amsterdam. We recently stayed at Mr. Jordaan Hotel and had a room with a view of this quiet and attractive canal just outside the famous Canal Ring. Bloemgracht is lined...More

Just off the great small streets in the Jordaan is this canal "Flower Canal" or Bloemgracht. On this canal I often do a coffee with friends or just bike and try to enjoy the architecture while biking around.

I fell in love with Bloemgracht. Every single house is charming, and it's such a quiet and peaceful area. It's a great place for a stroll.

his is a relatively quiet canal. If you stroll on thebanks of it, small shops and cafés everywhere. The houses you can watch closer are interesting and beautiful.

Flower canal, is one of the many beautiful canals, with ornate houses on the banks, it is nice just to stroll along the street taking it all in.

Opposite from Ann Frank House this little street with canal is off the beaten track but worth a stroll along. For us in October the autumn colours were particularly photogenic.

Always a pleasant walk down the canals - any season (although not so fun in downpouring rain). Best time is the spring, summer or autumn. Lots of little shops and services. Be sure to look up to see the tops of the roofs of all...More

Enjoyed four nights here, great restaurants in the area, a anne Rranke house just 4 minutes walk (get advance tickets- essential).

Not one of the major canals but close to Anne Franks house. Not the usual tourist trap but a great place for getting that photograph of a typical lovely Amsterdam canal.

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
