Hired cycles from rental shop near the park. Enjoyed trying bikes in Amsterdam, not brave enough to try it on the busy streets. Relaxing.

Nice flat park for a run or walk. The park has a nice restaurant based in the middle where in summer you can sit on the terras and soak up the sun. Great for Sunday breakfast in the park.

There were lots of families there and people walking dogs and riding bikes. Yes, a picnic would be lovely.
