Welcome to the perfect Canal Cruise Experience!Language guarantee! We strive to create a unique experience on our regular cruises (our City Canal Cruises, Evening Cruises and Blue Boat Dinner Cruise); all our boats are equipped with an extensive Personal Audio System that lets you select the language you prefer. On our City Canal Cruise we offer 17 languages choose from! We provide you with your own set of headphones, which are yours to keep. It also means you do not have to listen to any of the other languages, just to the one that you have selected. And because you only hear one language, we can tell you more!Blue Boat Company's fleet consists of luxurious party boats; six of our boats are fitted with wheelchair access en two are powered by electricity, using “green electricity” to make our contribution to cleaner air. All our boats have a glass roof that can be opened, an outside deck on the back (ideal for picture taking!)and in winter, we turn on our central heating! In summer, take our unique small open boat, the Blue Sky Boat, for a more intimate tour. And don't forget our unique 4 course a la carte dinner cruise, which combines a lovely meal, specially selected wines and the best views in one evening!

Staff was very engaging and the price was good. We were able to see Amsterdam and what sites we wanted to visit later. We did the canal tour the first night of our 7 day stay and I'd highly recommend doing it early in one's...More

I love barge trips and I love exploring cities by boat. This was one of the most disappointing I've ever been on. The recorded commentary was so dire - a faux American couple imparting zero information about the history, the architecture, the story of Amsterdam,...More

The comments were not on time with the boat, we missed most of the buildings and the crew was not helpful. In top of that someone drop a glass of red wine on me and the manager was useless. It is a night I will...More

This is an opportunity to get a different perspective of Amsterdam. The views of historic buildings and homes from the can a great! The captain provided a lot of useful information about the city, its development and architecture. The taped dialogue heard through the free...More

While in the Netherlands I spent my time in Delft and Amsterdam, and in both cities it seems tourists are supposed to experience some sort of canal boat tour. Honestly though, those long glass covered bus like boats just looked unpleasant, and listening to some...More

A beautiful way to see the city, especially if you want to see a lot in one hour. Would recommend doing this at the start of your trip because it is great for getting your bearings. Learned a little about local history too with the...More

Audio tour poor, recorded cheesy comedy routine that told little of relevance. No commentary from crew except asking for gratuity at the end. Captain good, but assistant just stood playing with his phone during the whole trip.

An absolute "must do" when you're wanting more than see the sights. It also navigates you off the most dense tourist path with an added bonus of being able to stop, get off, enjoy some walk ands see (discover) something you would like to see...More

Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part
of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh
Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed
museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you
need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the
Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark,
the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand
connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping

We didn't pre-book and just turned up at the booking office. The trip was reasonably full but no queues for the boat. I think that a lot will depend on the time of year/day that you want to travel. Even if you had to wait, I... More
