it's a family thing: work from multi-generational Slager-family painters hangs here

The Slager family is a family of painters. The name translates into 'Butcher'. The building is larger than you might expect, but it is much smaller than the Noord Brabant Museum. The work is nice, not overwhelmingly beautiful. Worth a visit. Average in comparison to the much bigger museums in town.

Little, positive surprise in Den Bosch
Mar 2016
Museum Slager is a little but yet interesting collection of paintings made by different members of Slager family throughout more than a century. Great example for how talent appears in different generations of a family. Visiting the museum takes about one hour, and costs 6 euro per person. Really worth to visit when in Den Bosch.

Fascinating Family!

Small museum with beautiful paintings of the quality you would expect to see in a world-class museum. That they are all by three generations of the same family make it all the more enjoyable.

Nice small museum more than three members and generations painters. Take your time to visit the museum and the small street at the backsite of the cathedral.
