The combi of het Noordbrabants museum and het Stedelijk museum is very special. The permanent collection shows you quit a lot of interesting artists from the region and the different exhibitions are always excellent. This year the top has been the Jeroen Bosch exhibition but several other exhibitions were of high class also. We visit the museum very regularly as... More

We visited the Noord Brabants museum twice in 2016. The first occasion was to see the Bosch exhibition which was first rate (just as good as that in the Prado, Madrid, which we also visited). The main problem with the Bosch exhibition was the sheer number of people going round - almost unprecedented for a provincial museum. The second visit... More

I throughly enjoyed my visit to the Noordbrabandts Museum. I happened on it because of a rainy day. It's massive & has some very famous artists exhibitions.

This is a very good museum, my review is slightly biased because i visited it for a special one off exhibition of hyeronimus bosch paintings so not totally representative of what will usually be presented. But I woudl say that the way the exhibition was curated and presented with multi lingual translation and audio guides would suggest that any exhibition... More

You could literally wonder through this museum for hours and hours and see new things. It is worth your while, but come well rested, because there is a lot to see (and walk).

It was interesting to see how some modern elements were incorporated in the presentation of centuries old works of art. "Bosch in Congo" (not the exact title) was very impressive! This exposition is the only reason I would give 4 points. Since it's only temporary, I will have to give 3.

The museum turned out much bigger than we anticipated. We went there especially for one of the temporary exhibitions, but also enjoyed the other parts of the museum. The way in which the history of the city is explained is really well done.
