Favourite place of my 4-year old son
Dec 2017
We life close to Ballorig, so we have had the opportunity to visit it several times in the past 2 years. There is a special area for 0-4 years old, slides and more then enough things to jump and climb on to. It can get crowded at certain days, but it's also very spacious. Let me start off by saying that the 4 star review is based on the fun that my son is always having when we visit Ballorig. BUT... there a few things I do want to highlight: - In several ocasions I have seen some messy toilets. In my opinion, parents are also to blame for this, but I believe that the establishment should pay some more attention to the toilets. It's about hygiene, as children go from the toilets back to the laying area playting with all the stuff that the other kids play with as well. - You are not allowed to bring your own drinks / food, altough I have seen people "sneaking in" some things :) Main reason is that food & drinks are an important part of Ballorig's income. But let me say it's not cheap (!). You can image that after 1-2 hours of climbing, crawling, jumling and running your kids will get hungry and thirsty. So be prepared to spend more than just the entrance fee (7,50 Euro). - The exit: at the beginning we used to sit close to the exit, because we were afraid that our son might run outside without us noticing it. Now he knows how to find us and knows that he should not leave the building. But the exit should be more secure and avoid that (small) children can open the door themselves. At similar establishments (like Monkeytown), the exit is secured and needs the help from an adult to open the door. But again, my son is always having lots of fun, which is most important for me, so 4 stars!

Awesome place to go in bad weather conditions

Well kept indoor-playground for kids.
Special area for toddlers. You only have to pay for the children, parents and companions are free. Two attractions where you have to pay another little fee.

Outstanding staff, respect guys and girls.

Prices in the food area are reasonable, own food/beverages are prohibited and that's fine by me.

The restroom signage could be a bit more public.

Close to the german frontier so you might keep an eye on holiday calendars.
