Very bad service
May 2018 • Family
I was used to go here often, but haven't been sometime. One day I stopped by with my 2 kids and tried some cheese. We bought a piece, and when I was paying the lady told me that we had tasted too much for getting only one piece (of note, I have a 2 and 4 years old...)!! Outrageous, I think. I left her 5 euros extra to cover the tasting, and will never go back. There are tons of good cheese shops in Groningen, and better of this one.

What a cheese selection
Mar 2017 • Business
A vast range of cheeses available here. Visitors are able to taste small pieces of cheese before buying. Very friendly staff, always ready to be of assistance.

Terrific cheese shop

It is a wonderful experience just being in the shop. The owner is terrific and very helpful and accommodating. The selection of cheeses and accessories is vast. Just about anything you want is there, including yummy nuts. We loved the cheeses and will return whenever we are back in Groningen.

For me, it is all about the wine(s)

OK, they have a lot of special cheese. But frankly, I do not care for that. Their wine selection is awesome. We had some red wine from them and it was amazing! We saw also some other interesting treats and all I can say is that this is a place to discover! Go there!

My go-to in Groningen. Great owners that are ready to help. Large assortment of cheese with tastings, olives, store-roasted nuts, crackers, snack mixes,fresh-pressed nut butters, local beers, nice wine selection...I could go on...perfection!

Cheese heaven
Sep 2015 • Couples
We really enjoyed tasting all the cheese varieties available in this shop. When we were told we could bring a cheese home to Canada we purchased one. We've been enjoying it! If you decide to take one home, just ensure it is vacuum packed. When you get home you can remove the plastic and wrap in in cheese paper.

You can taste and buy cheeses from around the world, including some great local ones. Great products and the store is open and friendly -- no service counters.
