I have been there when it was very windy, so that was fun. However the whole experience is completely average, compared to similar towers in other cities.

It is not effortless to climb all the stairs to the top of the Martinitoren. It is a spiral staircase and there are people going up and down. With children it’s a lot of fun. On top of the tower you have a great view...More

Although not too high and you can't get to the top, the visit and climb can still be worth it. The EUR 3 coin can be acquired at the tourist office just across the street. Depending on the time and the weather the view can...More

It costs like 3 euros a person to be able to go to the top and it gives you an amazing viewpoint over Groningen. It can be quite a climb but the view is definitely worth it!

Historic building, a true landmark for Groningen. Impressive tower, enough to see it from the outside.

If you want a nice view of the city, take the steep stairs to the top of the steeple. It’s worth the climb. Go early to avoid a crowded narrow stairway

This is apparently a "must do" activity when visiting Groningen, so we bought the tokens from the Tourist info Office, found our way through the turnstile and climbed the spiral stone stairs. Actually I climbed the stairs but my wife got part way up and...More

A bit of a climb but well worth it for the view of the city and beyond. These bell towers, their construction and the bell/ clock mechanisms are amazing. Great value for 3 Euros admission
