Adam - Exposition Mill
Sep 2020
The name of the windmill is "Adam" and it's an exposition mill. It is located in the shopping area in the centre of Delfzijl. There's a painting exposition "De Stalmeesters" but due to the covid-19, it was not open. The mill is still in good condition though it was built in 1875.

Really wish we hadn't bothered to visit this town. Had nothing to recommend it. We stayed about long enough to walk through the town to the windmill and then quickly left. There are much nicer places in Holland!

Back to see Historic Site
May 2015 • Couples
We have returned to this sea side village to meet with our family and during our time here it was our bucket list to visit this historic site. We were lucky to see the inside of the windmill, which will become a small art galley allowing locals & tourist to see what local artists can paint.

Its an old landmark in the town. Looks very pretty as this is typical of the Netherlands region and its historical to this place.

History in "City Central"
Apr 2013 • Couples
We were in Delfzijl to visit family & were pleasantly surprised that this historic wind mill is located in the centre of town. We were also fortunate to arrive during the coronation of the new King & enjoyed the party like atmosphere!! This historic structure is part of weekly local markets & gathering place for special occasions. You can also walk short distance to the local restaurants & bars to enjoy the Dutch cuisine.
