We have been here a couple of times, and have seen different monkeys the second time around. Very interesting to be able to see them up close. I was a bit concerned when I saw monkeys climbing on an empty baby buggy that was being...More

With excelent explanations about habits and habitats, with wild-life-prevertion it is the best place to both enjoy these creatures so like us people and both support apes living in the wild and prevent from extintion.

As regular visitors and almost neighbors of Apenheul we like to go there with our grandchildren. Again and again the children follow the explorer's track to spot the different monkeys. The track is diversified and the free monkeys between the public, or sometimes separated deliver...More

Only having ever been to Amsterdam in the past, we decided to venture out into the centre of Holland. We wanted to plan days out and came across Apenheul (Ape World) and booked in advance online (worth doing as there is no need to queue...More

We enjoyed our visit to Apenheul this week. Apenheul is located on the outskirts of Apeldoorn. The park is all about monkeys / apes, over 30 different species! Most of the park is outdoors and you follow a trail. Some parts of the trail are...More

Great place for kids. There are monkeys all around you at all times. It was very interesting to learn there are so many different types of monkeys.

Nice looking park with very curious monkeys that may pay your bag a visit to see if you have food. Enough to see and lot of information. Kids can do some interactive games to learn more.

This is a full day out trip. Lovely place , but don't expect monkeys to be always very interactive. They are quite moody and not always want to interact with tourists especially on busy days. Still great to watch them. There is also a lovely...More

Overall nice themed park and very clean. Lot of F&B outlets, slightly expensive. The disappointing part was that not one single monkey approached our party, this was very much different years ago and i was quite excited about this. Will probably give it a miss...More

You can easily spend a good 4 to 5 hours there if you take your time and spend some more time at the area where the monkeys walk around freely and see the shows. Enjoy your stay!
