Excellent way to visit the city. The guides provide a non stop story about the town as you glide through the canals in the electric boats. Not all skippers are equally skilled but there is not much that can go wrong. Very enjoyable.

Entirely run by volunteers, very informative, we were handed in sheets with info in English which were sufficient to enjoy, included pictures of each described building. The tour uncovers Leuuwarden rich history and former glory. Made us appreciate the place so much more. 1h very well spent, helped us relax and rest tired legs for the grand value of €5! Super value for money. And even better if you get some strawberries from Spar beforehand to snack on during the tour. Thank you, it was lovely!…

A great way to tour the city, A lot to see and with the guild giving information about the history and a description of the town and businesses that originally occupied the buildings.

It is a beautiful way of different sightseeing, Leeuwarden at his best. The boat is electric, so very quit. The skipper gives you all of interesting facts.

We are originally from Leeuwarden (born and bred) but have been living overseas for the past 28 years. It was lovely to see “our” town from this side and get all this background information from a very knowledgeable tour guide. Very impressive and a lovely afternoon outing on a sunny day.…
