These really are superb gardens - beautifully planted and landscaped. I particularly enjoyed the rock garden, the avenue of bonsai trees and the Bowes Lyon rose garden (even in October this was a sight to see.) The autumn colours of the Oakwood were exquisite and...More

We regularly visit Wisley and the grounds and plants are always beautiful, as they were on today's trip. However, today we went with family and the grandchildren who had been looking forward to the Room on the Broom theme starting today for half term. It...More

This is a large garden, with mostly easily traversable walkways guiding the visitors through each of the many and varied garden spaces. We visited early in the season before many of the plants had flowered, but that didn't detract from our enjoyment. A highlight was...More

It is quite unusual for me to post a poor review as I am very aware of the influence these things have, but following a visit yesterday I couldn't let it go. My Wife and I have visited Wisley on a number of occasions at...More

I've been visiting Wisley Gardens since I was a child and we continue to enjoy our visits. If there's just one thing to criticise, it's having to go home on the M25, which usually undoes much of the good from a day at Wisley, but...More

We have now visited Wisley three times in different seasons and have been enchanted each time. We saw some parts that we hadn't seen before yesterday so have now covered the whole acerage. The rose garden was still stunning in mid October. Sadly the glasshouses...More

My first visit to the gardens and it is impressive. There lots to explore, plenty of benches to rest and a well equipped (if expensive) shop. The Glasshouse was closed for some work which is okay as that’s got to happen at some point. I’ll...More

We visited on Monday, expecting it to be quiet, but it was very busy. We have visited several times, at different times of the year, and there is always something new to see, and we have made good use of our RHS membership. On this...More

This review is solely about the Glasshouse cafe. The gardens are fabulous which makes the performance of the cafe all the more below par. I understand that we were there on a Sunday but only 2 out of 4 tills were manned at lunchtime and...More

As a very keen and life long gardener, I recently joined the RHS and having been underwhelmed by my visit to Kew Botanical Gardens ( it should be called a Park) I went to Wisley a few weeks later. It really is the 'Holy Grail'...More

It is a very big place, But you can cherry pick the parts you wish to see. I have always felt that many different gardens make up the whole. So with the changing seasons, there is always something new to discover.
