The zoo offers a variety of animals. From Elephants to Leopards and Tigers. Then lions, penguins, aquatic animals and fish. Also a farm section and an indoor jungle... and more. I personally did not really like the concrete trying to emulate a 'real' world. We all know it is just fake, please do not try to mimic a real world,... More

Numerous animal collection, especially in fish part. Too bad I couldn't see the wild animal. The track is good to anyone who love to walk a lot.

I am not usually a great fan of zoos, and still fundamentally believe that animals belong in the wild, but they really seem to care of the animals here, and it is a very well-presented park. A nice afternoon out.

we went on christmas day as they are open every day of the year. not very crowded, great enclosures with up close experiences. presentations all in french, so that was a bit of an issue. clean, food spots and picnic areas. lots of walking as expected but clearly marked paths and a good map provided. we took the tram/trolley from... We caught the #5 tram from Bellevue, off at Kirsche Fluntern, then onto the #6 tram all the way to the zoo - around 20 minutes total. Although there was a bit of light drizzle it didn't really affect us too much. We spent around five and a half hours here and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Best part... More

The Zurich zoo is one of the best I have been to. It is not very big but has a wide variety of animals, birds, fish, and the list goes on. The layout of the zoo is also phenomenal. The elephant sanctuary is fantastic and seems like a one of a kind. The food choices on the property are pretty... More
