We were here in September and the gardens were well worth a visit. There is a wonderful area for sitting and enjoying nature. There are chairs supplied and the locals were certainly enjoying the sun.

I had read this was a top spot in Zurich to visit and was not let down. There are a number of hot houses with exotic plants to visit as well as walking trail through out the Garden.

We were looking forward to a nice garden walk, but found an unkept garden area instead. I'm not sure why the area was in such disrepair, while the rest of the city is so beautiful. Save your steps for another venue.

The botanical garden is a good option if you want to walk in the nature and enjoy the warm weather for a couple of hours without leaving the city. I really liked the tropical section and the piranha pools.
