It is a typical European city where you can probably finish what needs to be seen in a half day walking tour. It is nice to see and may be try the Swiss cheese & chocolate fondues

All around the city and old town are lights and decorations that create the perfect holiday setting. Strolling through this area is magical. Many of the shops and restaurants are closed on New Years Day, so plan ahead and make restaurant reservations in advance.
