This is a great place for both experienced skiers and those learning. There are a variety of slopes from which to select and likely this is one of the reasons that it is a popular skiing area. Of course, Davos is also very well known as the host town of the annual World Economic Forum. The Swiss Alpes scenery is... More

Not the same as France or USA. Pistes are not as wide, challenging slopes, and still got T-bars lifts which are a bit of a shock if you are used to "poma" or chairs. Good for the more experienced skier. Low altitude for many of the slopes means that you get freeze and melt, higher slopes obviously have better snow.... More

In my opinion the best skiing resort in Switzerland. Immaculately groomed ski trails, offering something for all types of skiers. Try the runs from Weissflühjoch to Schiffer valley station and Totalp.

The buses are free all around the area for visitors. The winter walking map is excellent and there are many varied walks in the area for all levels of walkers. The paths were maintained well. Best walking I have found in Switzerland.

Although the Davos resort is beautiful (I went to Parsenn and Jakobshorn), I prefer the North American ski experience. Davos is very stripped down - sort of like Alta on anti-steroids. There are virtually no signs telling you where you are or where you are going. There is very little grooming (maybe none). The runs are often relatively narrow, and... More

The skiing in Switzerland is completely different. So be prepared to work harder around ungroomed slopes. The town of Davos is the definition of charming so apres skiing was definitely a wonderful experience.

Its one of my favorite resorts but comes with a price... Each one will easily find a spot according to his or her capabilities and they have cute huts with delicious food. Also stunning for non-skier. The hikes are beautiful.

great choice of downhill and enduro trails. Parsenbahn is relatively slow, Gotschnabahn and Jakobshorn great

The pistes were beautifully manicured, the off piste easily accessible some of which is really challenging. One of the best skiing holiday that I have had. No wonder it is Prince Charles favourite place.

It's all there, different exposures for different weather and snow conditions. Go to Schatz Alp, Pisha, Rinerhorn and Madrisa.
