Came through here so many times this week. Boarded down to Grund and took the train back up to KS. Good facilities and shops. Nicely marked ski runs. And a great collection of crows looking for the next crumb. Slight downside of being v busy...More

Kleine Scheidegg is just, GORGEOUS! Overlooking the amazing swiss alps, Jungfraujoch, ski slopes, you just cannot miss this part of Switzerland! We were really just blessed with clear sunny weather atop Kleine Scheidegg after experiencing some cloudiness and light snow on Interlaken. Although it was...More

My wife and I hiked from Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg in June of 2017. I have done a lot of day hikes in my life, but none so beautiful and literally breathtaking as this one. Just when you think you've seen the most amazing view...More

We hiked from Kleine Scheidegg to Mannlichen...the views of Eiger/Jungfrau/ Monch were spectacular. Kleine Scheidegg is the starting point for many hiking routes. Also a good place to grab some food.

We hiked 90 minutes down from Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg, and hiked 45 minutes down to Wengenalp from here. It was a very easy hike. Once again, we were awed by the amazing scenery, with majestic views of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau. Loved it!

A lovely destination to hike towards from the Mannlichen Bahn station. The hike takes you across the top of the mountain and provides amazing views of Grindelwald in the valley below and the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau as you wend your way to Kleine Scheidegg....More

The ride up to Mannlichen from Wengen is short but great views. The hike to Kleine Scheidegg and then down into Wengen is about 3 hours. The views are spectacular. Would recommend this hike.

Good, light hiking with a view to the Eiger. While it is the light hiking, even in August there are snows left in the Eigergletcher trail so you need sturdy, non slippery shoes.

no, I wouldn't recommend Lauterbrunnen in October, it's a shaded valley with very limited options for evening. You say 'the hike' from Wengen to Grindelwald Grund - which one would this be, there are numerous options? Try... More

Both are excellent choices, on two sides of a valley. If you are thinking in terms of money, the Schilthorn is very inexpensive - whether you leave from Muerren or Gimmelwald. And, from that side of the valley, you have an... More

Hi there may not be snow there in July but your daughter will be ok. You can always email the tourist information office in Interlaken if you have any concerns. Hope this helps.
