We reached First by gondola and found the hike to the top of Faulhorn easy enough (even at age 77). The views on the way up as well as from the top make every effort worthwhile. Enjoyed Roesti and sunnyside up eggs as a reward.

We ended up for the night here at it was nice to "bag a peak", even though no technical skills are required!! It was a fun hike and the mountain offers incredible views on a clear day. Very worthwhile and great exercise.

Nice hike, passing along cows, nice lakes and the view from the top is priceless, especially after 1-2 beers at the restaurant to replenish the water levels.
