This is not an inexpensive experience as the trains up are pricey ( they do offer discount if you have an eurail pass). The ride up is breathtaking and they the summit is a photographers dream. They have an ice cave and a couple hokey attractions but so worth it. We went up one direction and down the other way... More

This is an amazing place to visit. the whole journey to Jangfro with stunning views of the valley takes you in heavens-out of this world. The hard work of the Engineers and Labour force and their determination to make a rail way through mountains till the top is really praise worthy and incredible. Spectacular views from the top of the... More

We went to Mt Jungfrau with lots of expecation of being the highest peak of Switzerland. But most of the activities were closed and we ended up spending more time indoors. It is too much commercialized and weather is bad most of the time. Mt Titlis and Glacier 3000 are equally(may be more) good and more activities to do in... More

Indeed feels exactly as it is described the Top of Europe nothing left above and a long way down, a very long way down. Bucket List here we come. Words cannot and should not describe the window of all God’s windows. The Train ride is just 5 star, the surrounding landscape just magic and powerful. Typical with everything Swiss, only... More

Jungfrau was one of the highlights of our trip to Switzerland. The train ride up and through the mountain from Lauterbrunnen provided incredible scenery. Once on top, the views from all sides were simply breathtaking. The Ice Palace was a very unique experience, as well as several other attractions within the facility. There are also several shops and restaurants to... More

It's EXPENSIVE to get up there and takes half the day to do the whole thing. BUT how often do you get that kind of view?! We bought our tickets in Lauterbrunnen the day of our excursion using our Swiss Travel Pass discount so it was $137 per person (yes - pricey!!!). The journey up through Wengen and Klein Scheidegg... Note : we travelled on 28 Sep 2015 We stayed in Interlaken and went on a day trip to Jungfrau - the Top of Europe. There were disappointing reports from tourists about the bad weather in the past few days and the webcams scenes available in Interlaken were disheartening . The previous three days of our visit and the later... More

We went there during mid of April, it's sunny, you can see very scenic view and lots of snow mountain around you when taking the train up, Jungfrau is very nice, also windy and cold, it was -9°C, there are also ice palace and Lindt chocolate shop there, however there are no clear signals to the ice palace and plateau... TA has this area spread out across a number of regions and descriptions, but essentially, the Jungfrau region accesses ski areas of Grindelwald, First, Wengen, Kleinne Sscheidegg, Murren and Mannilchen; along with the famous Jungfraujoch "Top of Europe" observatory which is different to the 007 mountaintop site at Murren. The railway journey to the top is expensive by any standard,... More
