What a brilliant place to site a revolving restaurant. I think its around 11,500 feet above sea level and its takes around an hour to do a full circle. The views are stunning. We took a day trip up to the revolving restaurant and enjoyed the stunning views whilst having a hot coffee. After that we explored the largest ice palace in Europe with over 5000m2 size. As I've mentioned in my review of Hotel popcorn, saas fee, this is definitely the best alpine location I've been too..not crowded with tourists, calm & breathtakingly beautiful. Allalinhorn cable car takes u to a height of 3500 metres and right to the glacier with lots of snow ,even in peak summer.excellent for skiing & hiking if you are staying... More
