The Notre-Dame Basilica is the main Catholic church in Geneva. The church is easy to find, especially if you arrived at the railway station. The entrance to the church is free for all visitors.

We came here for church on Sunday at 11:30 AM for service. It was really enjoyable and although it was in French you could easily follow the service. The church itself is Gothic inside and very beautiful. Definitely a nice place for Sunday mass.

The Notre Dame is right next to the main railway station and therefore difficult to miss if arriving by train. It's large with some beautiful stained glass windows- better than the Cathedral in the old town and lighter and airier.

The Cathedral is really beautiful both outside and inside. You can light a candle and pray or if you are a tourist like myself you can just admire the majestic place.
